Market Update - 10 August 2023

From 337 auctions (8% less than the previous week) scheduled in Sydney last week the auction clearance rate (SQM Research) was 52%, just a little below last week and the lowest for the year to date, barring Easter.

Locally, across the 2037, 2038, 2040, 2050, 2048, 2049 postcodes, there were 23 auctions scheduled and the overall clearance rate was 61%, with 64% selling prior.

I am delighted to mention this week’s sale of the beautifully renovated terrace house at 16 Ferris St. Whilst we can’t yet disclose the sale price, I’m proud to share that it was the second highest 2-bedroom house sale price in Annandale over the past 12 months.
